Bio
Info
Carol Vaughan was born and
brought up in Toronto and later lived over thirty years in Guelph, Ontario. In
1998, she and her husband Fred retired to Fred's native Nova Scotia and built
their home on the shores of St. Margaret's Bay in Northwest Cove.
There, she was able to fulfill a life-long ambition to paint in watercolours.
After having her first lesson with Patricia MacCulloch in an evening course at
the Aspotogan Consolidated Elementary School, she has since taken courses and
workshops throughout the Maritimes. This is certainly evident in the skill shown
in her beautiful artwork.
Carol belongs to a group of painters who paint every Monday afternoon, year
round, often out of doors. The congeniality and talent of this group is a source
of constant encouragement.
She has displayed and sold her work at the May Show of the Aspotogan Arts and
Crafts Group as well as at various other local shows.
