Peggy's Cove Area Festival of the Arts 2012
To be held from July 12 to 22, 2012. July 21 and 22 will be the Open Studio
Tour weekend where a number of AA&C art studios will be participating including
the Ocean Swells Community Centre in Nth West Cove which will become a gallery
for AA&C artists.

Biography
Cheryl has always lived in Nova Scotia and
resides in Deep Cove. She has been fascinated by, and in love with colour all
her life. As a teacher, she used her artistic ability to inject colour,
beauty and interest into her surroundings. She tried to foster an
appreciation of art and love of creating art in all her students. After
the deaths of two friends, she began to actively see the solitary nature of
photography and was rewarded with the urge to paint those beautiful sites she
was photographing. She began with watercolour and is presently painting
with acrylics. To truly satisfy her love of colour, she also works with
wool fibre to create vivid needle felting.
