        Philippa Borgal

Born and mainly raised in England, Philippa emigrated to Canada in 1972.

Since that time she has travelled across the country (both for work and for pleasure), and lived in two provinces, before retiring to Nova Scotia with her husband in 2006.

Like so many others before her, the beauty of the countryside, the many moods of the Atlantic ocean, and the clarity of the air have totally seduced her, and reawakened her interest in the visual arts.

She has enjoyed the many opportunities to develop her artistic side through painting in watercolour and acrylic, printmaking, and explorations into other media. Her works are in private collections around the world, including England, Norway, Poland, Hungary, the Philippines and New Zealand.
