Bio
Info
A native of Ottawa, ON, Sue developed a life-long interest in nature and art.
Careful observation and attention to detail result in a painting style that
captures the essence of a subject.
An accomplished scientific illustrator and
natural science artist, she works in watercolours, acrylics, oil paints, pencil
and pen & ink to produce landscapes, still life, animal studies and scientific
illustrations.
A graduate of the Visual Arts degree program
at the University of Ottawa, Sue has exhibited her art in many juried shows and
galleries as well as having her scientific illustrations published in peer
reviewed journals and books. Her work can be found in many private and corporate
collections, both nationally and internationally.
From her home and studio on Nova Scotia's
South Shore, Sue continues to paint the natural world and produce illustrations
for scientific publications.
