Kathleen Badali (Acrylic and Fibre Art)

Kathleen Badali has been involved in teaching art at the elementary and secondary level, and in teaching arts education and teacher education in several universities and provinces across Canada. She is a recent arrival to Nova Scotia’s south shore and finds her inspiration in both the people, and the scenery. The collegial and supportive nature of the local arts scene encourages and inspires art making almost as much as the wild and wonderful landscape of the Aspotogan. The Heritage Handwork group in Blandford introduced Kathleen to the local arts of rug hooking and felting which she has embraced and finds particularly rewarding.
