Patricia (Pat) a career educator – Grade one to College – chose change and took on book editing and publishing more than a decade ago. She works with series fiction writers and in recent years has expanded that interest to edit, format and publish Nova Scotia South Shore books by South Shore writers – through her press: WindyWood Publishing.
Pat’s love of art and informal training began with weekly Saturday art classes at the Art College of Nova Scotia. Beyond high school art training was sporadic and non-specific and involved playing in “elective” art courses and recreational community workshops (various mediums, subjects, including photography – NSCAD, SMU, SOVA, Acadia, AA&C, Chester Arts and Yukon art courses in Dawson City). Pat’s current interests are in rust printing, photographing the natural world and dabbling with acrylics. You’ll find her happily writing or editing during the monthly "working" art gatherings on the Aspotogan.
