Carol Vaughan (Watercolour, Acrylic and Oils)
Carol Vaughan grew up in Ontario and moved to Nova Scotia with her late, Halifax born husband, Fred in 1998. They built their home in beautiful Northwest Cove overlooking St. Margaret’s Bay. She was then inspired to take up a long buried ambition - to paint, specifically watercolour. The Aspotogan Peninsula offered many opportunities to take lessons and workshops and most importantly to meet a wonderful community of painters who did nothing but encourage and offer friendship.
Since that time, Carol has exhibited with Aspotogan Arts and Crafts at many venues and has sold her art. She also took the opportunity to take lessons in acrylics and oils. The Aspotogan and Northwest Cove present so much beauty and provide constant inspiration.
She values the support of the local community of painters and craftspeople.
