Cheryl Schnare (Acrylic, Watercolour and Fibre)
Cheryl has always lived in Nova Scotia and resides in Deep Cove. After the deaths of two friends she began to actively seek the solitary nature of photography and was rewarded with the urge to paint the sights she was photographing. She began with water color and is presently painting with acrylics. She has been fascinated by, and in love with color all her life. To truly satisfy her love of color she also works with wool fiber to create vivid needle felting. In her work, she likes to be a recorder of the stunning nature to be found on the Aspotogan Pennisula where she lives. She hope that viewers can be lifted from their stressful lives and sink into the natural beauty depicted by her works. Cheryl has been a member of The Aspotogan Arts and Crafts Association for many years and has learned from the numerous talented artists in this group..
