An Apple a Day
I have been very “artistically productive “during the pandemic. Not sure why, other than I find it my stress reducer. I am a people person most of the time and am involved in a variety of organizations that keep me very busy during most of the year especially summer. Like everyone we miss our families and friends. Life has changed and we will all have to adapt to the ‘new normal’. I am very optimistic about the future being a much slower, thoughtful, caring and sustainable community.
I painted this still life because it reminded me of keeping healthy,enjoying what is local and valuing where it comes from. We are tied more then ever to our roots.
