Jayne Campbell (Oil and Fibre)
I am a retired High School Administrator and have recently moved to Upper Blandford full time. My husband and I were drawn to the area for a variety of reasons: Great sailing, relatives, friends, the solitude and the scenery, especially the sunsets.
My artistic training is limited, mostly self taught but my appreciation for the arts has been life long. My first experience with oils was under the direction of Audrey Hannrahan 2006-07, summer workshop with Ron Smith in Chester working with pastels 2010. I have recently been introduced to wool felting through demonstrations at the Blandford Heritage Craft Group and I find this medium very rewarding especially if you want to reduce stress. Photography allows me to capture nature and my art allows me to embellish its inner qualities.
